Bo Nelson has been serving as the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Tyrone since October 2023. He is passionate about faithfully preaching God's Word, making disciples, and helping people grow in their love for Christ and His church.
Bo holds a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security from American Public University. His ministry is marked by a commitment to expository preaching, biblical discipleship, and equipping believers to live for the glory of God in every area of life.
Bo and his wife, Cybill, have three sons—Noah, Titus, and Tyndale. As a family, they are grateful to serve the people of First Baptist Church of Tyrone and are committed to seeing the church become a community that is rich in God's Word, loves one another well, and is useful in God's hands for the advance of the gospel.
